Well, I WAS excited for this! I like the emollients and eggplant ingredients s. That was an interesting choice and since it is a non-fragrant plant oil/extract I was very curious, went to Walmart and bought it. At first, I was VERY happy. I used it morning and night but I hated how it tied..... is there was a light weight, evaporating silicone included in the formulation, it may help with gliding smoothly without tugging..... I noticed some irritation under my eyes and around the corners of my lips/nose where I placed the product, but I figured it was from a new brand of glycolic acid I had tried. Switched glycolic to my tried and true and continued to use this to assist in repairing my acid mantle....
Well, my concealer went in BEAUTIFULLY when I used this. No cake, no creasing.... nothing it was glorious. The trade off was I noticed my concealer had a slight burning sensation after application. That had never happened before and it donned on me. It was THIS product!
I discontinued use and let me skin heal.... a week after returning to normal, I gave this balm a go again..... this was the culprit.
So, my suggestions are number 1. Make this GLIDE more. I don’t want ANY tugging on my under eye...... most of us don’t.
Secondly, can you make a pot of balm? Or a gel? I really love the finish of this product.
Hopefully this reaction is limited to a small group, but it seems this is not an uncommon experience.
I will try more from this brand bc other products ingredients looked promising.
